SPO International Women's Sports Day on January, 24th
17 mars 2021First the students are divided into 2 groups
1-A part of the class carries out a survey among their high school classmates :
-they ask them the names of a legendary sportsman or sportswoman, an Olympic medalist and a current sportsman or sportswoman
-they then ask them to give the names of sportsmen and sportswomen who play football, swim and practice gymnastics.
They find that few pupils manage to give the names requested and that, when they do, they are almost always sportsmen’s names
2-The other part of the class creates a PowerPoint slide about a sportswoman : her life, her career, her achievements, etc.
Surveys and slides are collected and exhibited in the school hall
