VIC French Competition : "Les Olympes de la parole"

The competition « Les olympes de la parole » is organized by a French association of women graduates of universities in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, the Secretary of State in charge of equality between women and men and the High Council for Equality, it offers French students to reflect on the place of women in society, on a topic each year : « 100 years of struggle (s) for equality » in 2021

First, the 34 students divided into groups, they created powerpoint slides based on 3 of the 6 poles of the JULIET project (influential, victim, woman of desire) : they chose sub-themes, made the history of this sub-theme since 100 years and the portrait of a woman they considered as representative :
-woman of desire: fashion, advertising, song

-influential: feminists, political women, first ladies

-victim : harassment at work, street harassment, domestic violence

Then, they wrote a sketch related to their topic,  in the form of stichomythia or dialogue : a list of words related to the woman of desire and a list of women they considered as women of desire; dialogue between Simone de Beauvoir, Christine Lagarde and Michelle Obama; list of words about the of harassment and biography of a French woman, Jacqueline Sauvage, who obtained a presidential pardon after having killed her husband because of the violence she and her children had suffered during several decades

Finally, 8 volunteer students staged the 3 sketches with an actor
