Each student researches Camille Claudel : her family, her childhood, her rebellious character, her links with her master and lover Auguste Rodin, her failure, her lack of money, then the madness she sank into after her separation from Auguste Rodin, her placement in a psychiatric asylum for the last thirty years of her life

Then each student chooses a work by Camille Claudel or a work inspired by the life of Camille Claudel (work of art, book, film, play...), presents it (author, genre, date of publication, description or summary) and asks himself how Camille Claudel is presented in it, which aspects of the artist the work highlights

 

Each student creates a powerpoint slide that reports on what they have learned about the artist and the analysis of the work they have chosen and offers a personal judgement on this work
