First, the students read two works with Cinderella as the main character : a fairy tale written by Charles Perrault in 1697 and a play written and directed by Joel Pommerat in 2011. Later, the students compared the two works : they researched the two writers, compared the genres of storytelling and drama, the serious tone of Perrault and the derision of the play. Then, they worked more particularly on 2 key scenes of the play : the scene 2 of the 1st part in which appears the trauma which leads the main character into a depression and the scene 12 of the 2nd part which constitutes the end of the denial. After that, they confronted 3 characters of the play : Sandra, a teenager of today and wondered if the fairy was a female counter model contrary to the stepmother who would be a female model. Finally, they compared the way in which the two writers use the marvellous elements through the character of the fairy and the metamorphosis of Cinderella.

The students had to make a poster, either from digital material or by hand.  They could write, draw, paste in order to produce a creative and original poster.
